He has a unique talent for telling stories with a brushstroke of irony, mixed with a touch of loving tenderness (and the painting metaphor is no coincidence!).

Louisa, Ted, Joar, Ali, ‘the artist’ will stay with us long after the end of this beautiful story, which made me nostalgic for my childhood, when creativity was the enemy of boredom and friendship was as important as family.
